White Cement supplied by Sadaf is a hydraulic binder intended for applications where both cementitious performance and a light colour are important. When mixed with water and suitable materials, it hardens to form white mortars, decorative precast elements, architectural finishes and coloured cement-based products.
Recommended Applications
- White or coloured masonry mortars and renders
- Grouts and architectural applications based on an approved mix design
- Production of precast elements, terrazzo and decorative cement products
- Use with compatible pigments in coloured concrete or mortar
- Light-coloured repair work after confirming colour compatibility and technical requirements
Key Benefits and Properties
- Light base colour offering greater freedom in architectural design
- Helps achieve cleaner, brighter colours with controlled pigment addition
- Hydraulic setting and strength development after mixing with water
- Suitable for a wide range of mortars and factory-made products with an appropriate mix design
- More consistent appearance when water and aggregate quality are properly controlled
Application Guidelines
- Use clean, compatible cement, aggregates, water and pigments from consistent sources.
- Establish the mix design at laboratory scale according to the required strength, colour, water absorption and application method.
- Use clean water at a consistent dosage; changes in the water-to-cement ratio affect both strength and final colour.
- Mix until fully uniform and prevent contamination from grey cement, rust or unclean equipment.
- Provide suitable, consistent curing. Demoulding and service times depend on the mix design and environmental conditions.
Limitations and Non-Recommended Uses
- White cement alone does not guarantee a white finished product; sand, water, additives and mould surfaces also affect the final colour.
- Structural applications require professional engineering design and compliance with the specified standard and strength class.
- Do not mix with materials contaminated by salts, soil, organic matter or unapproved additives.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
- Store in a dry area on pallets and protect from rain, moisture and condensation.
- Maintain stable stacks and comply with warehouse stacking-height limits.
- Old or hardened material should be checked for suitability before use.
- Available in 40 kg and 50 kg bags.
Safety
Wet cement is alkaline and may cause skin burns and serious eye damage. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, safety goggles and suitable respiratory protection. Do not allow prolonged contact between wet mortar and the skin, and replace contaminated clothing immediately. Read the shipment-specific SDS before use.
