Sadaf Natural Gypsum Rock is a naturally occurring mineral based on calcium sulphate dihydrate (CaSO₄·2H₂O). After extraction and selection, it is supplied as a raw material for plaster production, cement manufacturing and selected industrial processes. Product size, purity and delivery conditions are determined according to customer requirements and available production and loading capabilities.

Recommended Applications

Raw material for the production of building plasters and processed gypsum products

Use in cement plants to help regulate setting time, subject to the buyer's required specifications

Production of casting plaster, gypsum components and plasterboard following suitable processing

Selected industrial applications requiring natural calcium sulphate

Grinding and processing for specific applications after confirming the required purity and particle size

Key Benefits and Properties

A natural source of calcium sulphate dihydrate for gypsum-based products

Suitable for crushing, grinding and calcination according to the customer's production process

Suitable for bulk supply to plaster and cement manufacturers

Can be selected and supplied in agreed size ranges to suit production-line requirements

Sourced from regional mines, supporting planned and recurring industrial orders

Processing Guidelines

Test a representative sample in the customer's actual process to confirm compatibility with the equipment, calcination or grinding conditions, and required finished product.

Crushing, grinding, calcination or blending must be carried out in accordance with the industrial process and the specifications of the intended final product.

Limitations and Non-Recommended Uses

Raw gypsum rock is not a ready-to-use building plaster and must not be used as gypsum mortar without the necessary processing.

Suitability for each industry must be assessed against the purity, moisture content, size range and test results of the relevant shipment.

Direct use in agriculture, food, pharmaceutical or food-contact applications is permitted only where a dedicated grade and the required supporting documentation are available.

Packaging, Storage and Handling

Supplied in bulk and in agreed size ranges, subject to order requirements and loading capabilities.

Stockpile in a clean area, isolated from soil, salts, organic matter and other contaminants.

To prevent moisture uptake and contamination, the storage area should have adequate drainage and protective covering where required.

Use suitable transport equipment and prevent mixing with other materials during handling and delivery.

Safety

Dust may be generated during crushing, unloading and handling. Wear safety goggles, suitable respiratory protection, gloves and other required personal protective equipment. Stockpiling and loading must be managed to control rockfall, impact from pieces of rock and dust emissions. Full safety information is provided in the product SDS.
